Aydın: City of the Future

We are bringing the excitement of going back to school together with design, discovery and imagination!

In collaboration with Arkki, the Finland-based creative education school, Forum Aydın invites children and young people to explore architecture, design and the cities of the future.

Through age-specific workshops, children will imagine, design and create while discovering new ways to connect with the city they live in. As they design the future of Aydın, they will develop skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, innovative thinking and turning ideas into reality.

Arkki provides architecture and design education for children and young people aged 4–19. Originating in Finland, Arkki has organized thousands of educational programs and workshops for more than 30,000 children and young people in over 50 countries.

Aydın: City of the Future

What could Aydın look like in the future? In this workshop, children will explore the elements that make up a city—from buildings and public spaces to transportation and living areas—and imagine their own vision of the Aydın of tomorrow. They will turn their ideas into designs and create their own future city.

The Story of My City

What kind of story does a city have? In this workshop, children will explore Aydın through a different perspective, looking at the city’s past, present and future. They will create their own stories about the city and express their ideas through architecture, space and design.

My Future City: Aydın | Ages 6-8
What would Aydın look like if children could design its future? In this workshop, children will imagine the city they would like to live in and explore ideas around urban life, living spaces and the future of the city.

The Story of My City | Ages 9-13
A city is more than buildings and roads—it also has stories. In this workshop, children will explore Denizli from their own perspective, discover the stories behind the city and express their own city narratives through design.
